It could be a rotten Roman, gorgeous Georgian, awful Egyptian or whoever they like. It needs to be vaguely historically accurate, fun, imaginative and preferably a little bit horrible!
Entries must to be handed in to the LRC by the 1st March with names, ages and addresses written on the back.
In Poetopia you must choose their faction and write a poem based on that faction's rules.
If you decide to write a poem that doesn't comply with any factions' rules you become Dissimilis. Each faction has three rules, which you can choose from. Learn more about the factions by clicking on the picture.
The school competition deadline is 11th February. Entries must be given to Ms Streeter with your name and LF clearly marked.
A winner will be chosen from the entries and all entries will be sent off to the official competition.
The official winner of the Dissimilis faction (outside the given themes) will win a £40 book token. The best poet in all other factions will win a box set of the Divergent series.
Official winners will also get their poem published!
See Ms Streeter for more details!
